2023 Food Waste Solutions Summit

As a Registered Dietitian, Victoria is passionate about equal access to fresh nourishing food and sustainability. Locally, Victoria launched Philly Food Rescue powered by Food Rescue Hero. Now as Strategic Partnership Lead, she builds collaborations internationally for this transformative technology. Food Rescue Hero connects civic engagement and technology to fight hunger and reduce food waste. Featured in NPR and The Washington Post, the movement has rescued 150 thousand pounds of surplus food and redirected to those who need it most in 25 cities and growing. Alongside her role at Food Rescue Hero, Victoria provides research-based care as the Nutrition Director of Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals Metabolic Health Program. She speaks internationally with health providers and community leaders about health equity and nutrition security.
