2024 ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit

Colleen Hetzel is a Waste Reduction Policy Specialist for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). She has worked for over twenty years on various sustainable materials management and pollution prevention issues such as product stewardship, market development, waste reduction education and toxicity prevention programs. Colleen graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison with a Biology degree and an Environmental Studies certificate. Her current work focuses on using life-cycle analysis in policy decisions for sustainable materials management.
