Jenny Roberts has dedicated her career to helping companies and consumers make a positive impact on world through sustainable supply chains, most recently as Director of Sustainability and Sourcing for CAVA Mediterranean Grill – a company devoted to bringing heart, health and humanity to food.

Throughout her career, Jenny has worked both at origin with farming communities across Latin America and in corporate environments with companies like Wal-Mart, Whole Foods and Starbucks to drive positive outcomes for people and planet.  Career highlights include: helping helped Kiva.org launch the first Fair Trade microfinance pilot to offer Mexican coffee farmers low interest working capital loans to convert their farms to more sustainable production methods; helping Wal-Mart launch the United States’ first Fair Trade Certified vegetable supply chain; and in 2020, leading Starbucks’ executive leadership team to develop and launch Starbucks multi-decade ‘Resource Positive’ sustainability strategy to reduce carbon emissions, water usage and waste 50% by 2030.

Her vision is to make sustainable actions and both approachable and urgent, educational and fun, and to expand the community of activists beyond the traditional actors to the everyday people – especially those most affected by the adverse effects of climate change.
