Insights from the Town Hall: Working with Local Governments to Drive Food Waste Policy
Policy is unique in its power to provide a mandate that can move the food system to action — and throughout the last few years, a range of policies have been enacted to support efforts across the food system to cut the amount of food lost or wasted. This session will cover the key elements of successful policy at the state and local levels, ensuring that all stakeholders' needs are incorporated into policy development and implementation, and mechanisms for measuring progress.
