Bio:
Brian joined Astanor in 2021 as a Strategic Associate. On the deal team his focus is on innovations that speed the transition to regenerative agriculture. Prior to working at Astanor, Brian sourced food and agriculture deals for Almanac Insights, Belltown Farms and TPG’s Rise Fund. He is the founding editor and co-owner of several Edible publications in New York City, on Long Island and in Memphis. His writing has focused on organic farming, biotechnology, hunger, and rural communities. He is the author of Eat Here: Homegrown Pleasures in a Global Supermarket. He lives in Sag Harbor, New York, where he and his family keep a home garden and raise oysters.
