2023 Food Waste Solutions Summit

Over the last decade Jason has been supporting hunger-relief efforts and developing synergy for programs and partners. Starting with on the ground work as a food bank operator, Jason has seen first-hand the amount of food wasted and complexities of ensuring safe food rescue operations. During his time at the Feeding America National Office, Jason has partnered with national donor partners from design stage to execution of their food waste diversion and food rescue programs. Most proudly, he has worked closely with Starbucks’ FoodShare program through several innovations to create a robust system of donation that is available at all US company owned stores. “A hunger-free world is a global climate change solution, and I fully believe we have the capability to achieve that.”
