Mia Zavalij is a Senior Project Manager on Compass Group's sustainability team. She implements waste tracking and waste diversion programming nationwide and provides training and education to Compass chefs and operators. Mia has spent the past 12 years working on food waste reduction, including as a cofounder of Food Recovery Network - a national nonprofit that reduces food waste on nearly 200 college campuses.
