Thierry Bourroux joined Metafoodx in 2022 after an extensive career in Hospitality. His passion and experience started at a family-owned Hotel and Restaurant in the Northeast of France. Thierry graduated from Lycée des Métiers de l’Hôtellerie, a Hotel Management School in Metz, France. His career led him to work as a Hospitality Services Consultant and an Associate Director for Business Management in France and Luxembourg. In 2001, Thierry moved from France to Ames, Iowa. After settling down in U.S., he joined the Compass Group as Catering Director in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2008 Thierry transitioned to different leadership positions from Iowa State University Dining as Head chef for their residential dining facility, Assistant Director of Dining at Los Angeles for USC, Director of dining service for UC Berkeley, and to Residential District manager for Bon Appetit at Santa Clara University. Thierry has a track record of managing large budgets with success and efficiency. He joined the Metafoodx team as the Director of customer solutions. As a passionate, ethical, and service-oriented hospitality leader, Thierry decided to change his career and devote his 30 years of experience managing COGS and food waste to help develop Metafoodx solution for food operators' sustainability success.
