Bio:

Winson is the co-founder and CEO of Afterlife Ag, a circular farming startup that is upcycling food waste that would otherwise go into landfills to grow local and sustainable mushrooms. Winson grew up in a family of food distributors and restauranteurs and spent his weekends helping his family business with customer service, packing bags of food, and operations. Before building Afterlife Ag, Winson was the co-founder of Leap Venture Studio, focusing on investing in sustainable pet food startups. He also led business development for Twitter’s enterprise products partnering with CPG and hospitality companies. Winson is a fourth culture immigrant (born in Hong Kong, lived in Taiwan, grew up in Australia and currently working in the USA). He is based in Brooklyn with his 14-year-old pup, Marlow.
