Bio:
Brian Lipinski is a research associate with the Food Program at the World Resources Institute (WRI). Brian manages the 10x20x30 initiative, which trains businesses in food loss and waste reduction. During his time at WRI, he has worked extensively on the topic of food loss and waste, having served as the lead author on the paper “Reducing Food Loss and Waste." He also authors an annual report on global progress for the Champions 12.3 coalition regarding progress toward cutting food loss and waste in half. Additionally, Brian co-authored the Food Loss & Waste Accounting and Reporting Standard, the world’s first global standard of requirements and guidance for quantifying and reporting on food loss and waste.
Brian holds a Master of Science from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and resides in Washington, D.C., with his husband, where he also hosts a trivia night and spends too much of his free time doing crossword puzzles.
