Victor has been at the forefront of innovation, investment, and sustainability for over 25 years. As Co-Founder of S2G Ventures, he was a principal force in developing the S2G mission, culture, strategy, and team. Through his work at S2G, he pioneered system investing as a strategy for investing into food and agriculture and applied this approach in building the S2G portfolio. As Managing Director, Victor led the S2G investments into two sector-defining IPOs: Beyond Meat and Sweetgreen, not only providing exceptional returns but demonstrating the power of systems investing as a methodology. In 2024, he co-founded New Epoch Capital with partners to apply systems investing to an emerging market he identified as conscious consumer growth.
New Epoch Capital’s mission is to be the premier fund for conscious consumer growth. A US/EU domiciled growth fund, New Epoch is investing in best-of-class innovative companies that are systemically changing the consumer sector. The fund invests in high-impact, scalable, and profitable companies in the areas of new materials/ingredients in biotech and nature, enabling technologies such as AI and diagnostics, and new modes of commerce that provide consumers greater efficacy, personalization, resiliency, traceability, and discovery. He has developed a unique impact methodology, First Order Impact, to better align purpose, metrics, and growth into a cohesive strategy to optimize impact and returns.
He is Founder and Chairman of FoodShot Global, a 501(c)3 blended capital investment platform of equity, debt, and grants with a multi-stakeholder group of foundations, universities, corporations, and venture funds seeking to transform the food system into one that is more healthy, sustainable, and equitable. Now in its sixth year, FSG has provided over two and a half million dollars in grant dollars and ten million in equity funding in the areas of soil health, precision protein, bioactive foods, and water.
He is presently writing his first book, The Values Chain, for Penguin Random House, which will be published in early 2026.
