Diane Smith is an Educator and Registered Dietitian. Her work in sustainable food systems and health equity drew her to explore the intersection of Diet and Climate. Dietary choices, food access, and health outcomes are intricately connected to personal and global/planetary health. Her work in Food Waste Prevention campaigns supports consumer action to optimize food and climate education. She has worked with WSU Skagit County Extension since 2013.
