2026 ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit

Liz Fikejs has worked in local government for 30+ years, focusing on conservation programs across multiple natural resources. Most recently, her work at Seattle Public Utilities has centered on preventing food waste through partnerships that span public sector agencies, private businesses, national NGOs, and local community organizations.

Liz leads Seattle’s Food Waste Collaborative and the City’s work to expand food rescue operations at large events. She also serves on the U.S. Food Waste Pact Advisory Council to support national efforts.
