Regina Harmon serves as CEO of Food Recovery Network (FRN), a student-led movement that has recovered and donated 24M+ pounds of food to date. Recognized as one of the most influential leaders in the food industry by SELF magazine and Food Tank, Harmon has been a pivotal voice in raising awareness and harnessing action to reduce food waste, end hunger, and positively impact the environment over the past 15 years.
Under her leadership, FRN has united 8,000+ college students, food suppliers, farmers, and local businesses across the U.S. in the fight against climate change and hunger. As a board member of Food Tank and a member of ReFED’s Advisory Council, Harmon emphasizes the need to address racial disparities in the food system, disproportionately affecting health and economic outcomes, highlighting the importance of working together to enact change. Harmon graduated from the University of Maine and earned her master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
