2026 ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit

Savannah Murray is the coordinator for the Don't Waste Food SC program at South Carolina's Department of Environmental Services (SCDES). In this role, she promotes food waste prevention and donation across the state through education and outreach. She partners with individuals, communities, businesses, and schools to reduce food waste before it ends up in our landfills. She is passionate about rescuing surplus food to feed those in need and her calico cat, Cali. Savannah is a 2023 graduate of the University of South Carolina where she studied Environmental Studies and German.
