Shivani Shukla is a Lead Methane Research Fellow in the Climate Program at University of California Berkeley's Center for Law, Energy and the Environment (CLEE). Shivani co-manages the Subnational Methane Action Coalition (SMAC), a growing coalition of subnational governments acting ambitiously on methane. Her work overall supports development, implementation, and diplomacy of climate and environmental policies, particularly on methane and natural resources.

Before joining CLEE, Shivani built an international portfolio of interdisciplinary climate policy research, spanning the public, private, and academic sectors across the United States, Ireland, and India. Shivani holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Master of Applied Economics from University College Dublin. She is currently based in New York City.
