2026 ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit

Tyler Markham is a Planner Principal with Austin Resource Recovery, where he works with his team to implement Austin’s Zero Waste ordinances. Prior to that, he worked at the Central Texas Food Bank, coordinating millions of pounds of food rescue at grocery stores throughout the region.

Tyler graduated from UT Austin with a degree in Supply Chain Management. While at ARR, Tyler has focused on upgrading the team’s data infrastructure and building relationships with stakeholders, while staying focused on making measurable progress toward Austin’s goal of 90% landfill reduction by 2040.
