2024 ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit

For the past five years, Bryan has been the technical and operational lead for Plentiful a project of City Harvest and United. Plentiful is an emergency food reservation and data management platform that collects and analyzes data to enable easier communications, reservations and pantry discovery, as well as decreased wait times, for more than 900,000 food insecure clients across more than 300 pantry partner locations in New York City. A Michigan native, with over a decade of experience in emergency food services, Bryan moved to NYC to run the Coalition for the Homeless™ soup kitchen after a career in information technology and security. Bryan joined the Plentiful team in early 2017 after completing an M.S. in Nonprofit Management at The New School and was named one of Hunter Colleges's New York City Food Policy Center's 40 under 40 in 2018. As Plentiful's Director of DevOps, Bryan oversees product development, day-to-day product oversight, and operations.
