2024 ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit

Lauren Poor has been working at the intersection of human and environmental health for more than 15 years. In her current position at Health Care Without Harm, she works to build community wealth, health and climate resilience by helping hospitals more deeply embody their role as anchors in their communities. Previously, she worked in Baltimore with community groups, schools, non-profits, and city agencies to develop collaborative solutions to stormwater pollution. Lauren received her Master's in Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill where she focused on community-based participatory research and environmental justice. She is also a singer/songwriter and enjoys communicating her views through music.
