2024 ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit

Lorin is an expert on food systems transformation with 20+ years of experience. She founded and leads the advising firm FutureTable, a certified B Corporation, collaborating with leaders in the business, philanthropic and social sectors to achieve positive impact on food and climate challenges. Previously she served as Head of Global Food Systems Collaboration at the World Economic Forum, following prior roles with Harvard University, Save the Children in Uganda and USAID. She speaks regularly at conferences and has published insights including with the Harvard Business Review, Harvard Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative, and Forbes. Lorin serves as a mentor (Global Social Benefit Incubator, ReFED), sits on advisory boards and judging panels (Rockefeller Foundation, Culinary Institute for America, Food System 6, Rancho San Benito), and is an active contributor to several communities (Google Food Lab and B Lab, among others). She speaks three languages and has lived and worked in Africa, Asia and North America. She lives in California with her husband and toddler daughter. Lorin received a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Brown University and a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
